Is The Razer Phone Worth It?

Razer just announced a phone which took everyone by surprise. What is it? How does it perform? And is it worth it?

Knowing Razer, we all knew if they made a phone, it would have to be jam-packed with amazing specs and performance. That they did. It has a 120hz refresh rate display with a Quad HD display, making it the first phone in the world with a 120hz refresh rate. We have only seen this in the new iPad Pro, which Apple has recently announced in their September Keynote. The Phone features a 5.7 inch display, with a Snapdragon 835 processor, reaching the industry standard for a flagship phone. The $699 Phone features a boxy design with front facing speakers which have been reported to sound amazing. Sadly the phone has no RGB lights, unlike Razer. The logo is a gunmetal black, which only slightly stands out from the matte black background, but there are rumors about a special edition version that has a green Razer logo on the back. The phone is USB-C and carries Quick Charge 4.1, the first of its kind. It also has a massive battery, hauling a 4,000 mAh battery along with 8GB RAM.

Preorders start at $699, so with all we know is it worth it? Yes, but it also depends person to person and what you do with your phone on a daily basis.

First Impressions on CounterStrike:Global Offensive

I have had CS:GO for about 2 days and I can say that I have played it enough to give my first impressions on it. At first glance the game seems really simple, and to a certain extent it is, but it’s really not. The recoil is very realistic, so half the time if you are using an SMG or a Automatic Rifle, you either have to tap fire or try to control the spray. On top of that in Competitive or Casual matches they have a buying system at the start of each round where you can buy different and better weapons based on the money you have. At the starting round it isn’t recommended to buy any thing. The stock weapons are sub par pistols for each side. Every time you get a kill it gives you money, so it rewards you for good performance. You have to learn to make smart decisions with your money depending on the circumstances. The game can be considered a hard game, but it can be really fun and if you are a laid back casual gamer, I can recommend TDM or the Casual playlist. Overall, CS:GO is a fun and unique game and I look forward to playing it some more.
